Description:

Geology is a multifaceted complex science that studies the composition, structure, history of development of the Earth and her minerals.

Geologists solve a variety of problems: predict and looking for mineral deposits, detect and assess groundwater reserves, conduct engineering-geological surveys for construction of factories, residential houses, various types of structures.

To address these challenges, the geologist must determine with the help of various devices minerals and rocks, their age, exploring the remains of ancient plants and animals; describe the geological processes on the surface and in the bowels of the Earth; of tool to find out the type of occurrence of rocks; characterize the influence of soils on engineering structures; to define the conditions for the formation and qualitative characteristics of underground waters.
