Pollevich Oleg Vadimovich – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Senior Researcher, Associate Professor of the Studies of the Faculty of Geology, Geography, Recreation and Tourism of the Kharkiv National University named after VN Karazin.

Born January 2, 1947 in the city of Merefa, Kharkiv region. In 1970 he graduated from the Voronezh University of the Lenin Komsomol, received a specialization in the physics of the national economy. In 1987, according to the results of expeditionary researches of the ocean, he defended his thesis in specialty 11.00.11 – “Environmental protection”. Since 1977 he has been working at Kharkiv National University named after V.N. Karazin as Senior Researcher, since 1993 – Deputy Dean of Geology and Geography Faculty of Scientific Work, since 2010 – Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Geography and Regional Studies. Has over 110 scientific publications, including 18 patented products. Participated in 4 international expeditions on world ocean problems.

Leading researcher, performer of many scientific topics, author of more than 40 scientific reports, about 57 scientific articles. Constantly performs work related to the definition of groundwater quality.

Leader of the 5th year scientific research practice using modern technologies for determining the composition of water objects of different water management purposes.
