Water is an essential and very significant participant in physical-geographical, geochemical and geological processes, so hydrogeology is inseparably connected with all the Sciences of the geological cycle, and climatology, hydrology, Oceanology, glaziologie, physical geography, etc., i.e. all the Sciences that study the water in all the spheres of the Earth. Nowadays, domestic Geology took shape in a complex science involving several independent special sections.

- in project organizations that are engaged in engineering survey for the construction of residential, automotive and industrial facilities and the like.
