The organizers of the conference were: Kharkiv national University named after V. N. Karazin Kharkiv national University, Ukrainian research Institute of natural gas, the Ukrainian state leading scientific-research and production Institute for engineering-geological and ecological researches of the Ukrainian state scientific-research Institute of water supply, sanitation and environmental protection, Institute of geological Sciences of NAS of Ukraine, Ukrainian scientific-research Institute of ecological problems, the State enterprise “Ukrainian research & technology center of metallurgy industry “Energostal”.
Information support was provided by the “Bulletin of Kharkov national University Karazin”.
The conference featured 64 of the report of educational, research and production institutions and organizations of Ukraine. During the conference worked in 6 sections:
– “Assessment of the status and prospects of use of underground waters”;
– “Geology and hydrogeology of mineral deposits”;
– “Environmental Geology and hydrogeology”;
– “Geochemistry of the environment”;
– “Geotechnical investigations”;
– “Innovative approaches in teaching Earth Sciences “.
The opening of the III scientific conference “Geology: science, education, practice”. Participants welcomed the Deputy Chairman of the organizing Committee head of the Department of hydrogeology , associate Professor Udalov Igor.
The participants of the conference represented: 4 classic University, Dnipropetrovsk national University named after A. Honchar, Kyiv national University named after Taras Shevchenko, Lviv national University named after Ivan Franko, Kharkiv national University named after V. N. Karazin; 3 other higher educational establishments of Ivano-Frankivsk national technical University of oil and gas, Kharkiv national University of municipal economy, Kharkiv national University of construction and architecture of a name of A. M. Beketov, Luhansk national agrarian University. Also the conference was attended by members of the scientific research and production institutions and organizations: Ukrainian research Institute of natural gas, Institute of geological Sciences of NAN of Ukraine, GP “UkrNIINTIZ”, JSC “Interdepartmental centre of engineering researches”, PJSC “ukrhydroproekt”, Institute of water problems and melioration of National Academy of agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, State enterprise “Ukrainian scientific-technology center of metallurgy industry “Energostal”, Odessa hydrogeological reclamation expedition, State regional geological enterprise “Donetskgeologiya”, UGND “Ukrvodgeo”, Scientific and engineering center radjoutaedje researches at Presidium of ANAS.
